Stupid Carlos Tosca costed us the last game of the series against Texas. So we are at the bottom of the division once again, and time to get back up with some games against a good Athletics team.

Josh Towers (3-3, 5.40) vs. Kirk Saarloos (1-0, 0.68) Saarloos has been impressive in his first 13 innings this season, but this guy has a career ERA of 5, so dont get to excited. I wouldnt get too excited about Towers, either.

David Bush (0-1, 3.86) vs. Rich Harden (4-5, 4.33) Now this is a game that I gotta see. Harden is a favourite up here since he is from BC and Bush is part of the future. Should be an interesting matchup.

This is a short two gamer, then we go up against the Yanks in a series starting Wednesday. Have fun.

Pretty good start to the series tonight. After falling down 2-0, the Jays rebounded in the 4th, starting with a solo shot by Vernon Wells. The Jays scored 3 more runs in the inning to bump the score to 4-2, thus knocking Oakland starter Kirk Saarloos out of the game early. However Oakland reliever Justin Duchscherer pitched well in 3 and 1/3. Then Carlos Delgado hit a solo bomb to make the score 5-2, his 11th of the season. Eurubiel Durazo hit a homerun in the ninth of closer Jason Frasor, but Frasor rebounded for his 10th save of the season.

Well we lost game 2 but it was fun to watch. Nothing likea good pitchers duel and you dont get to many with a Toronto team like this that is usually focused on offense. Bush was great throwing a 1 hitter, and Rich Harden was equally good. No one had reached second till the 10th inning. Tosca made some strange moves once again when he pulled his DH late in the game. Once Chulk and Frasor were done I figured so were the Jays. Tosca made some odd decisions here too, he got lucky with Terry Adams, he started to push it with Kerry Lightenberg, and then he completed it with Justin Speier who eventually lost the game. Exciting to watch though
