Right now I would really like it if we could get out of last, because it's embarrassing to be behind this team, who should be the laughing stock of baseball still for at least this year! But losing 9 of your last 10 games isnt helping you, and neither is the offense which seems like it is dead all of the sudden

Mark Hendrickson (7-7, 4.38) vs. Miguel Batista (8-6, 4.02) Former Jay Hendrickson looks much improved over last season when he was a Jay. Batista has been one of our most solid pitchers. I think this matchup goes to Toronto

Rob Bell (3-3, 4.97) vs. Josh Towers (4-3, 4.97) Bah, Both of these pitchers suck. How Bell's ERA is only 4.97 amazes me. Towers lowered his after a good start but he should come back down to earth here.

Victor Zambrano (9-6, 4.39) vs. David Bush (0-1, 2.29) Zambrano has queitly become Tampa's ace, while Bush is making a name for himself after a huge perfomance in just his second start. He still looks for his first major league win though, and if he is solid and the bats wake up, it could come here.

The jays won last night due to poor fielding by Tampa's defense in the third inning. Well in the first with the game already 1-0 with a Rocco Baldelli solo homer, Frank Menichino tied it up with a solo homer of his own. Then in the third the Tampa mess began.
It started off with a Reed Johnson single, but then Aubrey Huff error scored Frank Menichino with Johnson going to third. The inning then broke out big time, Hendrickson only gave up 1 earned run in the night (Franks homer)
Miguel Batista got the win and a quality start, while Jason Frasor got the save

The Jays won 4-2 today and the play of the day came by the Umpire when he ejected stupid Carlos Tosca! Thanks Umps!
Josh Towers pitched a solid game giving up 1 un earned run, his ERA stands at a respectable 4.53, much better then what it was before. The solid bullpen duo of Vinny Chulk and Jason Frasor got back togethor as Chulk picked up the hold and Frasor the save.

Jays sweep the D-Rays with a 5-3 win today. Once again David Bush sort of stole the show giving up 1 earned run in 7 and 1/3 innings. He did give up 2 un earned runs though. Kerry Lightenberg picked up the save.

Carlos Delgado hit a 3 run shot in the first of Victor Zambrano, and the winning runs were scored in the 4th by a 2 RBI double by Orlando Hudson
