Minor Leagues | Lakewood blows lead, then tumbles in 10th

EASTLAKE, Ohio - Micah Schilling's two-out single in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Mike Conroy from third base with the winning run to give the Lake County Captains an 8-7 victory over the Lakewood BlueClaws yesterday in the South Atlantic League.
Lakewood had built a 6-1 lead through the top of the fifth inning before the Captains began to rally.
A three-run eighth inning gave Lake County a 7-6 lead.
However, the BlueClaws tied the game in the ninth when Bryan Hansen scored on two throwing errors by Captains third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff.
Camden 8, Pennsylvania 3
Quincy Foster collected four hits and three RBIs and stole four bases at Campbell's Field to help the Riversharks snap a three-game Atlantic League losing streak by beating the Road Warriors.
Toledo 4, Scranton 2
MOOSIC, Pa. - Rayner Bautista walked with two outs and the bases loaded to score the winning run in the 10th inning, and Greg Norton added another run on a fielding error by third baseman Shawn Wooten as the Mud Hens prevailed over the Red Barons in the International League.
Atlantic City 5, Bridgeport 0
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Surf broke up a scoreless tie when Ozzie Timmons hit a two-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to beat the Bluefish in the Atlantic League.
Atlantic City got three more runs in the inning off two hits and a pair of walks.
Salem 4, Wilmington 3
SALEM, Va. - The Avalanche scored in the 12th inning to edge the Blue Rocks in the Carolina League when Mark Saccomanno singled home Wade Robinson from third base with one out.
