Minor Leagues | Trenton overcomes Norwich

NORWICH, Conn. - Jason Grove's sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th last night drove in Bronson Sardinha and gave the Trenton Thunder a 5-4 win over the Norwich Navigators in the Eastern League.
Mitch Jones' 27th homer, a solo shot, tied the score at 4-4 in the sixth and enabled the Thunder to overcome a four-run Norwich first inning.
Durham 5, Scranton 4
DURHAM, N.C. - Matt Diaz was 3 for 4 and singled in what proved to be the winning run in the seventh inning as the Bulls beat the Red Barons in the International League.
Pete LaForest, who hit a solo home run in the first, also had three hits for Durham, which has won seven straight.
The Barons used a passed ball and a wild pitch to tie the game, 3-3, in the sixth. The Bulls came back with two runs in the seventh.
Lakewood 7, Charleston 1
CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Tim Moss went 3 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs, and Omar Bramasco and Josh Mader also drove in two runs as the BlueClaws beat the Alley Cats in the South Atlantic League.
Wilmington 9, Salem 2
SALEM, Va. - Mitch Maier went 3 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs as the Blue Rocks beat the Avalanche in the Carolina League.
Camden 4, Pennsylvania 3
Dwight Maness' RBI single in the bottom of the eighth scored Brad Strauss and gave the Riversharks an Atlantic League win at Campbell's Field.
Reading rained out. The Reading Phillies' Eastern League game at Harrisburg was rained out. The teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 6:05 tonight.
