he's pretty solid but he walks a whole effin lot of batters. i think on average of like 4 a start?

on the devil rays, he's their "ace", on the cubs he would be in the bullpen behind even glendon rusch. on the red sox, i would rank him in the derek lowe area.

well, he's not coming back next year...might as well get someone for him! for christ sake, we've been playing .500 ball for the past 3 months now! why would this team all of a sudden turn arond? it hasnt the past 3 months. trade nomar, lowe, and maybe varitek if it looks like you arent gonna be able to resign him. get some quality players and START AGAIN

no, the understanding is that they WONT trade clement. the sox would take that deal in a heartbeat as they need pitching desperately.

if the cubs arent willing to give up prospects, why would they give up their most consistent starter this year?

hendry does not make blockbuster deals. thats not his way.

they may pop out, but never so often on the first pitch as nomar does. he may have a great average on the first pitch, but never when it counts.

hell no. the cubs are built on pitching. they will go only as far as their pitching. one bat wont change that.

the first big rule is you never trade good starting pitching for a good bat if its a straight up deal.
