Minor Leagues | Scranton drops third game in a row

DURHAM, N.C. - Matt Diaz drove in five runs and Jason Standridge pitched eight strong innings as the Durham Bulls defeated the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons, 11-3, in the International League yesterday.
Durham won its eighth in a row.

HARRISBURG - Kevin Barker doubled, homered and drove in four runs as the Phillies dumped the Senators in the first game of an Eastern League doubleheader.
Rich Lane's three-run homer in the first inning led the Senators to victory in the second game.
Reading's Ryan Howard clouted his 37th home run and totaled four RBIs in the loss, giving him 102 runs driven in this year.
The 37 homers extended Howard's Reading record and put him at seventh in Eastern League history. The EL record for home runs in a season is 41.
Salem 3, Wilmington 1
SALEM, Va. - Josh Anderson went 3 for 4 and scored twice to lead the Avalanche past the Blue Rocks in the Carolina League.
Camden 4, Nashua 3
Quincy Foster drew a base-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th as the Riversharks beat the Pride in an Atlantic League game at Campbell's Field.
Trenton. The Thunder's Eastern League game at Norwich was suspended after three innings due to heavy fog.
Norwich led, 7-3, after three innings. The game will be picked up at that point beginning at 12:05 p.m. today, with a seven-inning game to follow.
