maybe they didnt want concrete to fall down like other stadiums. or any more 500 lb steel beams to come crashing down...

I said it to Nan when I visited the Stadium, that I was so relieved I had made it because I always thought that Steinbrenner would take any opportunity to move to some state-of-the-art facility. I just can't believe this has been mentioned so soon afterwards. :(

Heard that the city of New York turned it down so i reckon there will be no new stadium for a while :D
