No new rumors have come up to my knowledge. It's been about three hours since the media popped out its most recent RJ story, which is a new world record if I'm not mistaken.

The NYPost is reporting that Arizona wanted the deal to START with JAVY VAZQUEZ :evillol

So why didn't the Yankees come close to getting Johnson? Because the list of players the Diamondbacks wanted started with Javier Vazquez and included minor leaguers Dioner Navarro, Robinson Cano, Andy Phillips, Eric Duncan and Melky Cabrera.
