The White Sox pissed away thier 3rd straight in Detroit,losing 3-2 in 10 innings on a Cliff Politte's bases loaded walk to Carlos Guillen.Now we're going to be 5 games back of the Twins.

Someone explain to me what the hell Jose Contreras will do to get us back in the race!!??? :Puter:

I just thought about it, and I have tickets for the Saturday game versus Boston this month....it was supposed to be Esteban Loaiza bobblehead day :(

That's very interesting. We'll see how the White Sox handle those 15-20,000 Loaiza bobbleheads now.

I see those at the dollar bin at Sox Fest 2005.

Maybe Contreras can get it together now that he won't have 20-30 newspapers asking him the same thing over and over
I think he needed to get out of th bronx, maybe a scenery change will do well for him

He'll only have 1 or 2 reporters covering him,if that.Everyone else will be on the North Side to drool all over Nomar.

At least he'll have that in his favor.

When you lose 7 in a row in ugly fashion as is the case this week,and have gone from 1st place to having Cleveland and Detroit breathing down your neck,you tend to get these nervous ticks.Know what I mean? :banghead

Watching the Sox this week,I'm beginning to have Jerry Manuel flashbacks,losing to Minnesota and Detroit,teams which we need to beat to win this thing.
