Interesting article. He basically says what everybody is thinking. That was, "Sure, he has a great bat, but its his attitude in the clubhouse that brings everybody down." Sooner or later hes gonna hate Chicago and the Cubs too. I guaran-damn--tee it.

as i said before, if dusty could make bonds and kent coexist, he can take care of nomar.
not to mention cubs fans tend to be the most forgiving bunch in the whole world.

Dusty tends to have that "magic touch" regarding superstar players. But, Bonds and Kent did have a dugout spat that Dusty couldnt stop. Dusty could straighten Nomar out, though. But, im still sticking to my original prediction that Nomar will hate Chicago and the Cubs in a couple years.
And regarding Cubs fans forgiveness, of course they're forgiving. All those losing seasons and they still come to the ballpark.

i love shaughnessy for that reason. he isnt afraid to say whats on his mind. something bugs him, and he says so. thats great reporting. he isnt gonna be scared by the fact that nomar was the face of this franchise. he's telling the truth. i admire him for that

It takes a real brave man to bash the hell out of a player once he's gone. :hmm:
Whatever this cockmunch says, it does not chance the fact that this deal sucks (well, for us anyways....it's a great deal for you Cubbies).

see, the thing is, he had written an article before about nomar, and said it was time for him to go. so its not as if hes only saying this after nomar is gone.
