Its the 6th inning and we're down 7-0. Sounds like a sweep to me. The rookie starters for us arent working well at all. We need to have a stable rotation for next year, and this isnt it. Heres my rotation for the rest of the year.

Johnson
Webb
Fossum
Dessens
Gonzalez

Send Cormier down, hes been nothing but trouble for us. We have serious pitching problems, and its not just the bullpen. Its the entire pitching staff. Fossum has an ERA of over 6, but I think he can improve on that. Pedrique needs to stop bouncing Dessens from starter to bullpen. I know hes bad, but if he stays in the rotation long enough, he might get 10 wins for us. Gonzalez has had his good moments, he is definitely ready, but he needs to stay consistent with his stuff in order to become a good pitcher. Webb has been great for us, I have no problem with him. Its just the offense hasnt given him runs. Same with Randy. I think we could avoid 100 losses, but we need to be really good in the last quarter of the season in order to do it. I need optimism, something to get excited about. This team isnt given me any reason to cheer this season. Avoiding 100 losses would give me a little optimism.

I also read that if Pedrique keeps these losing ways up, he might have the lowest winning percentage ever for a manager with 75 games of experience.

So, you say the 59th bridge is lower, huh? Dont be surprised if I show up there anytime soon. Im out.

59th street bridge is a high ass bridge and the water is deep.

For the starting staff, it is just ugly. I havent heard much of Gonzales. Dessens I have never liked, too inconsistent for me and the same for Fossy who just sucks. Having number 3 and 4 starters who should still be in the minors never helps things, but having an offense that can't score runs makes it that much harder on everyone. I don't think this team will lose 100 games, but like you said Randy and Webb have to near perferct!

Pedrique needs to be fired! He need to be fired! I MEAN NOW! NOT LATER! NOW!

Well, I have the London Bridge here...it's only about 50 or so feet, but the water is really shallow making it easy to break your neck when you land...and if that doesn't get ya, stay there long enough and a boat may just run you over.

Fossum is getting better, his last two outings have been okay...not outstanding, but getting better. I think with some work he could be a decent enough starter. Gonzalez sucks. Flat out...can't stand him, nor Pedriques insistance on letting him start. Here's a blast from the past, but I don't think we should have let Miguel Batista go. He was pretty good most of the time and at the end of last season he was damn good. And I'm glad we kept Johnson. I think he'll keep trying, as long as he has a team that appears to be trying behind him.
