Minor Leagues | Floyd pitches Reading past Harrisburg

HARRISBURG - Righthander Gavin Floyd allowed two runs over 82/3 innings as the Reading Phillies beat the Harrisburg Senators, 7-2, last night in the Eastern League.
Floyd (6-6) walked four and struck out two while giving up eight hits before Martire Franco recorded the final out.
Floyd, who was lifted after walking two batters in the ninth, came within a third of an inning of his second consecutive complete-game victory.
He had two singles and drove in a run during the Phillies' five-run rally in the fourth inning.
John Castellano drove in two runs in the rally with a double.

NORWICH, Conn. - The Trenton Thunder scored three times in the eighth inning to rally for a 9-8 win over Norwich in the completion of a game suspended by fog on Wednesday night.
The Thunder rally was keyed by RBI singles from Jake Weber and Andy Cannizaro.
The Navigators then won the regularly scheduled game, 5-2.
