I drafted L Coles, C Chambers and D Driver to play the 3 starters.. i also drafted Rashaun Woods (SF) and Robert Ferguson (GB). I'm not sure whoses gonna be the starter opposite of Javon Walker, but I'm thinking the 3 guy isnt gonna get that much prodcution with Ahman Green and Bubba Franks also there.

I can drop either one of them for someone such as (Tai Streets (unsure if hes gonna start or if rogers/williams are, muhsin muhammed is on there also.

or i could just store the best player available, which it looks like would be Anthony Thomas, i'm not sold on thomas jones.

My other RBS are Dillon, S Davis, Buckhalter, and Westbrook from my Eagles!

I;m not sure if most players go with 1 or 2 defenses, but i picked up dallas and oakland.

i got payton manning at qb, and he has no backup as i was gonna wait and just pick up a spotter during his bye week.

ANy help greatly appreciated, thank you!!!
What do you think of my team, i had the fourth pick in a forward/backward drafting league.

First of all, welcome to addictsports!

Now to the meat and potatoes. There is a reason you drafted the players you did. Don't second guess yourself. If there is a clearly superior player who wasn't picked, that's one thing, but to make a change before players develop into roles, that's jumping the gun.

First of all, if it doesn't affect the amount of players you can roster, it can be an advantage to have two defenses and play the matchups. If you don't have a dominant D, it can give you an extra few points that can make the difference.

I'd do the same with Manning. He'll start for 16 weeks for you, barring injury, so why not pick up a bye week QB for one week.

Dillon and Davis should do nicely for you. I like Buckhalter and Westbrook, but the trick will be to pick the guy who is going to score that week.

One thing about Green Bay is that Favre spreads the ball around. You almost never see a GB WR score 15 TDs, they have four guys who catch 6-8. You might want to watch the depth charts in camp to see who's the starter opposite Walker.

Anthony Thomas is a favorite of Bears management, or he'd probably have been traded this off-season. The new coach, Smith, brought in Jones because he fits the offense better. The new O in Chicago is virtually the same as they run in St. Louis and KC. Thomas isn't really suited for that style. This is strictly a wait and see situation.

Keep an eye on Shockey's foot, you might need to grab another TE if it limits him too much.

Good Luck - Keep stopping by and I'll try to help you out whenever you need it!

Sounds like a good plan TC, thanks! somebody in my draft drafted mike cloud, so i was wondering what aws going on with corey dillon, but surely dillon hopefully will get the majority of the carries. i had stephen davis last year, he tore it up, then i traded him for T.O., BIG MISTAKE!!!!
yeah, i went for the sure thing in manning because i try to go with my faves everty year and i get killed. last year i picked bledsoe and mcnabb, and they killed me, at least the first half.
I think Dallas's D is solid, plus having Parcells as there man he wont deal with mediocrity, so im hoping they hold up. Roy Williams is a monster in the secondary.
yeah, i know driver has been favres favorite sometimes, and that injury last year prob knocked his numbers down, and ferguson had a really good second half. I'm hoping for big numbers, lol!!!
Thanks for the help TC, I will definitely be back, hows your team?

Thanks,
Sean
