Out of these rookies, who do you think has the better opportunity, i'm leaning towards jenkins since hes on the falcons, but i dont know anything about either of them to really pass judgement. I've checked the depth charts and they;re both third altho it says jenkins is competing for a starting job alongside peerless price. however, with the 49ers starting pretty much new guys anyways, maybe woods has a better shot???
i was going to pick up Daniel Graham to spot Jeremy Shockey in case hes not ready, plus i htink wr's would be easier to come by than te's.
i would have to drop one of the rookie wr's to pick up a backup.
Thanks

I would lean towards Woods, as he is the big physical receiver that the 49ers really like.
I'd lean towards Woods. He's got the hands, polish, and body control to be an effective pro, plus he has opportunity. When the competition is the likes of Cedric Wilson and Brandon Lloyd, he should see a lot of balls thrown his way.
Jenkins could step up but the "Vick factor" makes his prospects a bit risky for my tastes. Remember last year with Peerless Price - when Vick went down he was invisible.

Thanks for your advice guys, it is noted and appreciated. I dropped jenkins to solidify the TE spot (good news too, Daniel Graham is gonna be a major sleepre i think, because i read that christian fauria is on the pup list, and there other TE is not participating in camp i think. plus, tom brady and the patriots are saying hes holding the ball this time around, lol, i hope so...
So now I got shockey and graham, who i believe will both be top 6 te's this year.
TC, i think i forgot when i listed my whole team, i forgot to mention i had stephen jackson as well. not that it really matters, but if faulk goes down, i think i may be in real good shape (i would rather he not go down tho, hes one of my fave guys).. i dont wish no harm on no one.
I really hope RIcky comes back next year, people should get off his back, its his life. Funny how all these sportscasters and the like are whining, prob cause they put bets on the dolphins and now they're attacking the only way they can. hahaha, also funny how people are saying he left them high and dry, last time i checked, nfl teams have no problem dropping guys when they're hurt or anyreason (salary cap cuts), so why go all crazy when the shoe is on the other foot?
theres no loyalty, so they should shut there yaps, anyways, take it easy guys, TC bro, you seem to be the only one who really responds (?), thanks for your time man!!
GOOD LUCK IN FF 2004

if and only if graham catches the ball this time around, he's going to get a lot of yards. he's so physical, like shockey in a way, he can just run over people, and drag them all over the field.

I really like Dallas Clark or Alge Crumpler as a sleeper this year. If they are available I would grab them over Graham.
I think you've got the right idea in picking up a backup to Shockey. Who knows how his health will be.
Jackson is a great sleeper pick. Faulk always misses some games, and from the comments he's made this off-season, I don't know if he'll have the desire to come back if it's more than just a minor injury.
I think as it gets into exhibition games that you'll see more action here. Don't give up on us yet. Keep contributing to the forum and it will only get better.
