R.I.P. Bob Murphy
This truly is a sad day, the man was the voice of the mets and made listening to the games a great experience. Along with Gary Cohen, Bob really turned me onto Mets baseball on the radio and it's just sad.....
Thanks for the memories Bob :( you will be missed

I heard about this during the game last night. I knew he was sick, but didn't realize how bad. Very very sad news :crying2:

There's a memorial for him at St Patrick's Cathedral on Wednesday August 11th at 2 pm. The public is welcome.
