Let me start off by saying, why the EFF do you chance the runner to run home when you are down by 1 with zero outs??? We would have had 2 on with no outs. One on third and one on first. terrible call.

also, i've been seeing that after like 88 pitches, arroyo falls apart. he may be breasing through the first 6-7 innings, but when he hits that 88 pitch mark, he starts throwing balls, and walking people, giving up hits. francona should know that, and at least have someone warming up at that time

Our third base coach is an idiot and needs to go. That's twice in two games he cost us a run by waving a runner around when EVERYONE ELSE IN RSN would have held the runner at third.

And Francona leaving Arroyo in there in the 7th? Christ, it's Grady Little all over again.

Last night's loss was a result of poor coaching, plain and simple.

Agreed...one of the many poorly coached games this year. Why would you leave Arroyo in there when the bases were loaded? It was clear that he was having control troubles. Should have had someone already warming up. Then they would have been able to bring in someone when and if Arroyo got into some trouble. Man, this team sucks a$$. :angry:

this always happens. francona never has anyone warming up at the right times. i guess he wants to show support for arroyo by not warming anyone up, but guess what...arroyo needs that support, because he's proven to fall apart in the later innings.

that was a loss i put squarely on the coaching staff right there.

you're right...i usually dont try to blame the managers, because honestly, i doubt how much effect they have on the game anway...usually it the players fault. but i cant even use that excuse with francona. he just plain out sucks, blows, whatever. he is the epitomy of the word douche. DOUCHE!!!!

oh, i dunno. if the sox keep playing .500 like they have been, i'm pretty sure francona will be gone after this season. i think if the sox dont make the playoffs, he's as good as gone.
