The White Sox just picked up 2B Roberto Alomar from the Arizona Diamondbacks for cash considerations and a player to be named later.
Alomar played in only 38 games for the D-Backs this season,hitting .309 with 3 homers and 19 RBIs.This is Alomar's 2nd tour of duty wuth the Sox,having acqiured him for the NY Mets last July 1,for 3 minor leaguers and cash.
In 67 games for the Sox last season,Alomar hit .253 with 3 homers and 17 RBIs.He had a .990 fielding percentage for the Sox last season to go along with 42 runs scored and only 6 stolen bases.
