The White Sox may shuffle thier pitching rotation when they make thier 1st trip to Fenway Park this weekend. Most likely gone from the rotation will be Feliz Diaz.He was scheduled to go against Curt Schilling on Saturday.Instead,Jon Garland may go on 3 days rest.
Mark Buehrle will also likely go on 3 days rest on Sunday, while Jose Contreras will start as scheduled on Friday night against Tim Wakefield.

I'd rather have Contreras face the Red Sox in Fenway than see Feliz Diaz get wiped out against Curt Schilling.
Contreras is 0-3 with a 17.25 ERA at Fenway.I'll take my chances with Contreras.

In 4 starts this season,Diaz is 1-3 with a 10.17 ERA.He's been lit up every time he's taken the mound for the Sox. He was smoked for 8 runs in 2 1/3 innings against Cleveland the other night.
I don't ever want to see Felix Diaz on the mound again as far as I'm concerned.Bad things can only happen.

Yeah, but how many innings has he pitched in Fenway? I realize it was in Yankee pinstripes and all that.Out here,it's not even an issue. As long as he gives us a chance to win the game, that's all I ask of him.
So far,I'm very happy with what he's shown us here. We'll just see how it plays out on Friday night. That should be an intriguing matchup between Wakefield and Contreras.

I wouldn't worry about Contreras. Now that he's not a Yank, we might not be able to muster the hate to hit him. :notme:

I'm just glad that Ozzie decided that Felix Diaz against Curt Schilling at Fenway,or anyplace else was a recipe for disaster.Any one could have figured that one out.
