Jose Contreras went 6 innings in Boston tonight giving up 4 runs on 5 hits striking out 5 batters while thropwing 111 pitches as the White Sox lead Boston 6-4 in the 7th inning.

Neal Cotts is now on the hill for the Sox.Aaron Rowand has hit 2 homers off Tim Wakefield in the game.

Ramirez hits a screaming line drive off the Green monster with 1 out.Runners at the corners.The ball was hit so hard on a line,Damon probably would have been thrown out at the plate,or Manny would have been thrown out by a mile trying for 2.

ya bastards :angry: well, i guess contreras just couldnt handle the pressure in NY. is takashi always that shakey? and does his breaking ball always go like 50 mph? that was crazy!

Takatsu has been as close to automatic as anyone I've seen in a Sox uniform the last 25 years.But he has been shaky of late,even blowing his 1st save of the year the other night.

That 55 mph frisbee that he throws is just plain filthy.That speed is the norm for his breaking ball.His fastball only tops out at 85.

that's disgusting! I can throw faster than that guy, he has no right to be so good :( oh well, today's another day
