We won again, no surprise about it, but we finally broke the streak and Randy pitched well(no surprise).
Quick comment on two of the young players on the Diamondbacks.
Scott Hairston impresses me at the plate, he impresses me on the field, he basically impresses me wherever he goes. If only Pedrique would get it into his head that he needs to play full time. This guy is the future leadoff hitter for the Diamondbacks, and he is a future all star.
Greg Aquino continues to impress me on the mound. He was getting hit hard in Tuscon, but he has been lights out on the mound. He throws 95-97 MPH and has a great splitter to compliment it with. He is the future closer of this team. He will close next year I think if he continues to pitch like this. Im out.
