Allllrighty then , Hello everyone this is SacTown back for more football goodness . This years squad was taken from the 6th out of a10 team draft slot . It's the beast of a league that is yahoo , and they seem to have revamped the scoring a tad . My pay league doesn't draft till tuesday < hey , wasn't that an 80's group ??? Voices Carry ?? > but I digress .
I must mention that I had drafted A. Boulden thinking his injury was not as bad as they later found out , I've since replaced him with Tyrone Calico because he's a Titan darn it ! :D That draft goof hurt a little but not too much as I had drafted my main WR threats anyway .
Some of my choices seem a tad odd , but I drafted for Bye Week coverage this year . So without further ado , meet my SacTown Maulers .

M. Bulger (StL - QB) #6
T. Holt (StL - WR) #2
S. Moss (NYJ - WR) #4
A. Boldin (Ari - WR) #7 D'oh ! :bonehead
A. Green (GB - RB) #1
C. Dillon (NE - RB) #3
D. Clark (Ind - TE) #10

BENCH M. Bennett (Min - RB) #5
BENCH R. Wayne (Ind - WR) #8
BENCH T. Brady (NE - QB) #9
BENCH I. Mili (Sea - TE) #13
BENCH D. Givens (NE - WR) #14
BENCH J. Jones (Dal - RB) #15

A. Vinatieri (NE - K) #11

Seattle (Sea - DEF) #12

The #'s are the draft order I took em in .

I scanned the other teams and they all look pretty good , but I was surprised to get Ahman at the 6th pick . Number 5 took Peyton Manning . * shrugs * Always one in the league isn't there ?

As always thank you in advance for any and all replies :)

one question...why'd you pick brady? are you gonna look to trade him? cuz he's not a great fantasy qb, as you know. otherwise, looks like a killer team. you have some great wide recievers there.

bulger does tend to throw some intos tho.

Nice team -
Dillon and Green are a great set of RBs, Bennett will have a big year if he stays healthy, Jones will get more time as the season goes on in Dallas

Holt and Moss will be very productive. Bolden was worth the pick, Calico will fill in nicely. A lot of people are high on Givens, we'll see if they are right. Wayne will score some TDs as second WR in Ind.

TE - Clark and Mili will do okay.

Vinatieri kicks in bad weather in Dec. Keep an eye on the FA K'ers for later in the season.

Seattle's D is middle of the pack but should be average at worst

Overall, a good team

Brady was a " he wont hurt me for a few games " pick . He makes few mistakes and although not spectacular he is safe for a back up .

I think Bulger dropped in my draft because of the Int. count , but that usually fixes itself on young QBs as they mature . I expect Bulger to throw quite a few less this year .

I know I posted on Givens with TheDatchs' team . I took him for the same reason ;-) I DO think he is gonna step up and fill a definate void . The oppertunity is there . Does he have the intestinal fortitude ?? We'll see . If not I have alternate WRs to fill in .

Seattle was the one "gut" pick . For some ... UNKNOWN reason , I think they will be a good def. this year . I can't explain it , but I usually follow my "gut feeling" once in a draft. 2 years ago I "gut" picked Duece Mc and Mr Portis . I won that league from their breakout seasons. Mind you I had LaDanian and Sean Alexander on that same squad. It was rediculous . Sean , LT in the RB spots , Portis on the TE/RB slot and Duece was the swing guy . sick sick sick and I LOVED it .

Ah well what can ya do ?? This year it's just a slug fest I'm guessing in this league .

Adam V. was a "best I could get at the time" pick . I don't draft Kickers high ... EVER . I was kinda hopin for Mare as I see alot of Field Goal attempts in Fin Town this year .
