Don't have too many details, but in the 2nd game of the double header, I think he was covering 2nd and one of the Rockies slid into his leg. He needed help getting off the field. I don't know how serious it is.

He fractured his fibular (one of the bones in the lower leg) and will be out for the season. Funny part is, Super Joe is infamous for sliding hard into the second baseman to break up the double play. Hoisted by his own petard.


This is the first time I can remember Joe being on the DL.
