From what I am hearing the Sox are red hot right now and are catching up on the Yankees. The Jays are coming off a sweep of Baltimore and they are looking to catch up on the D-Rays for 4th place and then the Orioles for their usual 3rd (Which is still possible!)

Pedro Martinez (13-4, 3.78) vs. Ted Lilly (8-8, 3.88) Pedro has been dominant lately of the Jays, but it's amazing how close Lilly's ERA is to Pedro. So it shouldnt be a bad matchup here.

Tim Wakefield (9-7, 4.53) vs. Miguel Batista (9-9, 4.41) Batista has struggled as of late, his ERA was below 4 not long ago. Wake is a knuckle baller that usually fares well against the Jays.

Curt Schilling (15-6, 3.45) vs. Josh Towers (9-4, 4.30) And this is the game that I have been waiting for, my return to SkyDome. Jays have a record of 1-2 when I go there. Schilling is a future hall of famer and Towers has been red hot in the second half, so this should be a good one. :)

Holy crap, Lilly was dominating. Pitched a 3 hit shutout and struck out 13, which is the most by an Toronto lefty ever. Pedro pitched pretty well but gave up a homerun to Reed Johnson. 3-0 final

Uhh, Sox took game 2 5-4. Doug Mirabelli hit a 3 run homer which gave the Sox the lead. Miguel Batista sucked it up once again. The Bullpen pitched surprisingly well though

That was quite an opportunity the Jays blew late in the game with the bases juiced and no outs. Nice to see the Red Sox on the other end of one of those for a change.

I didnt get to see the end of the game, but I think there was an oppurtunity earlier in the game with the bases loaded and only one out or something.

I was thinking that since Towers has pitched well lately and the Jays owning of schilling, but the Sox just exploded off Towers and then Maurer later on.
