Anyone think Pedrique will be back next year? If not, who will replace the replacement?

Whats his record since he has taken over???

He really has been dealt a tough hand in Zona....

Sure, he has been dealt a tough hand...but if Brenly can get fired over it, why not him. Isn't the reason one brings in a new manager is to turn things around. Not only did he NOT turn it around he turbocharged the teams descent.

Al did the best with what he had. They couldn't expect him to get a .500 club.

Kevin, I'm with you. If Brenly could get fired over haveing no talent on the active roster then why shouldn't Pedrique who was expected to get the team to atleast a .500 record.

James, Pedrique has gone 10-38 since he has taken the sinking boat.

I didn't expect him to get to a .500 record, but perhaps get a close to .500 record starting when he took over. Don't you bring in a new manager to do better?

From what I have seen from when a manager gets fired the guy who takes over is soupposed to bring a fire to the team, Pedrique brang water to put out the little bit of fire.

It didn't say agua.
I shouldn't say that, that sounds racist. I'm really not...I hate everyone. lol. Seriously though, I hope to God he's an interim coach...I go back to one of my original gripes, his insitance on Cintron confounds me at best, aggravates me at worst. That kids STILL hits freaking pop flys all the time. He apparently doesn't have enough power to hit them out of the park on a regular basis, so line drive it dammit! I was watching an interview with their hitting coach where they showed him coaching Cintron, saying you don't hit homeruns, so stop hitting em in the air. I think it's about time we do the Willie Mays Hayes punishment to him.

I would go with the more drastic measure, if he hits it in the air...graze his ear with a 50mm bullet. :uzi: :scream:

Pedrique should be an interim manager. I hope he is. I hope to god he is. I havent watched that much d-backs baseball lately, my mind's been focused on school, and the olympics.
