Jon Garland gave up 4 runs in 7 innings for the win as the White Sox defeated Detroit 9-5.

A big 4-run 5th inning,and a 3-run 8th inning helped overcome a Tiger lead in the game tonight.

The big stat for the Sox tonight was the 1 thru 4 hitters(Rowand,Uribe,Lee,Konerko) went a combined 8-for-15 tonight with 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored.

We need Buehrle to get us a win tonight. We need some momentum going into Cleveland for the weekend.

We have to win tonight,and take at least 3 of 4 from the Tribe.

Buehrle deserves a better fate tonight. He's had no help from the umps,and Joe Crede just flat missed a tag at 3rd base on a Carlos Guillen extra base hit.He would have been out from me to you.Now Guillen just scored after bowling over Jamie Burke giving the Tigers a 3-1 lead after 5.

Burke had dropped the ball anyway. :angry:
