Kyle Farnsworth on DL

Kyle Farnsworth was placed on the 15-day disabled list after losing a battle with an electric fan after being taken out of Friday's game against the Houston Astros.

After Farnsworth was lit up for 6 runs in the 9th inning,he went down the runway leading from the dugout to the locker room and kicked an electric fan and ended up with a sprained and bruised knee.

An MRI on Farnsworth showed no ligament damage to the knee,but a lot of inflammation.He is now on crutches.

Farnsworth is expected to miss about 3 weeks because of his injury.

Its a shame that a guy that throws a 100 miles an hour can't pitch. I think it's your pitching coaches that are steering him in the wrong direction. Or maybe it's that ugly Cubs uniform that just turns a player into suck ass.
