Have any of you seen this???
As I walked east on 42nd Street (between 8th and 7th Aves) on Friday after work, I suddenly saw a circular "bicycle" with 6 people ride past me! Everyone was pedaling, but only 1 person was actually steering. Instead of handlebars, the driver had a steering wheel. Plus, because it's a circle, some people were riding backwards! (kind of unsettling, I'd think, to be riding backwards among the taxis and buses during rush hour in Times Square, as these people were doing!)
I did a seach on the web and found the following two pics to show you roughly what I saw. The difference is that the bike I saw seemed to have smaller wheels, and I didn't notice any central place for drinks, as shown in the second picture:

btw, it appeared that these were tourists who had signed up for a ride, except for the driver, who seemed local, so who knows, maybe these will start popping up all over NY!
