Looks like Gil is gettin his shot at short. Hairston loses his 2B job to Cintron. I think Padriqe did threw a dart at the names and landed on Cintron. Well so far the team is on a little winning streak :-P so the guy can't be a total idiot.

Pedrique is on crack. Why take out Hairston and put in Cintron at second, then put in an unproven shortstop who hasnt even had an at bat yet. Makes no sense to me. But yes, we are on a little streak, lets not screw it up today. GO FOR THE SWEEP!!! It will make me happier than ever if we win today. For the first time this season, I say, LETS GO D'BACKS!!!

Sure, the new kid was unproven with a bat, but a proven fielder. Hairston was proven to suck defensively and his offense, even with the homerun, isn't all that awe inspiring right now either.

Quinton McCracken (OF) ARZ
Quinton McCracken has been diagnosed with a slight tear in the medial meniscus in his right knee, according to the Arizona Republic. Although he's listed as day-to-day, he will need surgery to repair the damage.

Jose Valverde (P) ARZ
The Arizona Republic reports that Jose Valverde has a small tear of the labrum in his pitching shoulder. He will require surgery to repair the damage and miss the remainder of the season as a result. He should be ready for spring training.

Valverde I can kind of understand, but why would you want to drop McCracken? Ever since coming back he has done a good job for the team.

Never liked his name. McCracken sound like a weird ass name that should be on the Cardinals. Like Isrignhouser. But aside from that he has been great since being called up.
