Na na na na na na ;)

As they say, all good things must come to an end. But at least you do have a job to go to.

Wow, Kat, sorry to hear it! When do you have to start going back full-time? (not tomorrow, I hope!)

Geez, I can't believe the summer's almost over (well, as far as school is concerned). My impression is that July and August just flew right by!

At least you had a fun-filled summer, right??? New apartment, Dan's visit to all the ballparks, trip to Montreal, etc. etc. (I wrote "etc. etc." cuz I forgot what else ya did during July/August :D )

Anyway, don't let it get you down! The adventure is just about to begin... ;)

I can't believe how early some of the schools are starting. Long Island schools always always started the Wednesday after Labor Day. Over the past several years, it's been the Tuesday after Labor Day in the district I grew up in. Well, this year, my sister's kids are starting this Thursday. That's absolutely horrible. A lot of the districts around here are starting next Tuesday or Wednesday like normal. I don't know why that disctrict has to destroy the last week of summer for students, their parents, and teachers. It's horrible.

Wow, holidays over already Kat?:D Sorry to hear. But you got lots done from what I seen. Like Chuck said, I remember seeing you in Montreal stalking Mets players, in Boston stalking Mark Mulder ;), in Baltimore losing your scorecard, hell, I may have just dreamt it, but I coulda swore I even saw you in that place in the Bronx!:D

All the best back at work.

It wasn't me....

Actually, this week is optional, I'm in early to set up my classroom. Today I moved thinsg from my old classroom to my new classroom, set up some furniture and painted the bookcase yellow....

Next week, teachers report, kids come 9/13 (it is late this year)

...and painted the bookcase yellow....
You shoulda had a painting party!

(then again, for a bookcase, the party would've lasted all of 5 minutes... :D )
