The season, thank God and the Angles in hevan is over. What were the major reasons for the supream suckittiude for the D'Backs. It obviously wasent Johnson or Webb who had superb seasons. Johnson for one should be a close 2nd in the Cy Young race. The lack of players bringing bats to the batters box is probably the most obvious reason, can't win if you can't score. Can't do much if you can't score. The lack of seasoned players or AAA players for that matter. What are your reasons?

Now, where was I? Oh yes. Injuries were a massive factor. When you suffer as much as the D-Backs did this year, you don't have a prayer. Also the trade. Sexson hardly swung a bat, while Moeller, Counsell and Spivey(have I missed anyone?) all turned in decent seasons in Wisconsin. Ouch. And last, but not least, the bullpen. Major suckage this season.

Seriously though, I have to say the MAIN reason for our horrific season was the injuries. When you have guys who should have still been on the double aa team filling in in the majors, you know you have a problem. While we may not have taken the pennant if it weren't for the injuries, we would have fared a lot better, even with the bullpen we had the first three quarters of the season. While I miss a lot of the players we lost in "THE" trade, I still think Sexson will be a great players assuming he comes back from the injury and performs as he should be able to. I think next season has a glimmer of hope.
