6-2 Sox.

8 runs.

Category, how many innings will Petey pitch? I say 7.

Tie breaker-->Trot goes deep.

I want to pick a Sox win with my heart, but my brain is telling me otherwise. It will hard to get two wins in Anaheim.

5-4 Angels.
Pedro goes 6.
HR for Manny.

Colon usually struggles early on. MUST HIT HIM IMMEDIATELY. If given a chance to compose himself, we're dead.

I missed the Game 1 contest thread. Is it too late to join? Can people who don't bleed Red Sox colors participate?

Either way, I'll make some predictions anyways. :)

I also don't see the Angels going 0-2 at home, so...

Angels 7 - BoSox 2

Total runs: 9

Pedro lasts 5-2/3 innings.

Tiebreaker: Damon scores in the first inning.

Of course you can play. The more the merrier. There were no winners in game one, so it doesn't matter that you missed it.

But you are on crack if you think we give up 7 runs today. :D

5-4 Sox
Pedro goes 6
TB: Manny drives in Damon at least once.

You're going to need some sort of narcotic yourself when the Angels throw a bunch of crooked numbers up on the board today. I see Vlady getting 5 RBI all by himself. :D

Oh, just so I don't get accused of being a bandwagon jumper later on in the playoffs, I actually hope the Sox take it all this year.

(I just can't see that happening.) :D

sox 3, angels 2

both starting pitchers shine, colon goes 8 innings, pedro goes 7

tie breaker...sox score their run in the top of the ninth inning (feeling adventurous)

My head also says Angels since Pedro hasn't really been himself lately. Angels win 6-3, 9 runs, Martinez tosses 6 IP.

tiebreaker > Chone Figgins with 2 RBI and a steal.

Your guess was way better than mine.

The best way to guarantee that your team will win is to get me to predict a victory for their opponent. :D

Rowdy wins! He correctly guessed 2 things. Pedro going 7, and Foulke closing it out. :)
