I'm back for a weekend

I'm visiting my parents house for a weekend, as i was in st. louis for a week to do some inspecting. I was so nervous about the whole thing. would i be able to be a good boss? would i futter up? I was basically a construction inspector for a drainage grate replace and repair for inlets. i have NO idea when i will be able to be back home permanently. :(

but it IS kinda cool being a boss. They ask my opinions, i give them based on what i know (which is not much) and i listen to what advice they have to give and then OK it. and sometimes i tell them that hey, you need to block that lane off!

its interesting though. I've been watching a lot of playoff baseball in the bars (resteraunts like applebees) next to my hotel which has staved off a bit of boredom. guiness and amber bocks for $2.00? yummy! :)

and whats cool is these guys are all laid back and easy to work with. they even told me which strip clubs are good in my area. :)

so i wont be around much over the next few weeks. so behave yourselves! :)

Well at least you won't have to travel on the Dan Ryan. Last night it took me an hour and a half to go 4 MILES!! That was from US Cellular Field to the Chicago Skyway. :angry:

That's what happens when you funnel 5 lanes down to 1.I didn't go above 10 mph until I passed the Skyway.

At least it should be interesting to be there while watching some of the NLCS games. Already talked to the boss about the fact I could be MIA at different times in the next 10 days or so.
