Good Morning & Happy Saturday everyone

isn't it nice to wake up and not have to go to work? not have to rush and worry about getting ready and trying to be on time? :D

i woke up at 7am! :eek: :hmm: why? because i passed out last night at 10pm! :sleep: so lame! :hmm: i didn't even hear the phone ring.....


to me, saturday means:

i don't have to THINK!!! :banana:

i can plop on the couch and read my book and not have to look at the time :D

oh yeah and i guess there's some sports stuff on tv..... :tongue:

i can veg in my jammies all day (but i won't... going to the park later)

i do have to clean and do some laundry though....

i hope saturday lasts 72 hours!!! :devilsmok

Morning, Magic :wave1: Have a great day veggin' around your place. I've got to drive into the big city of San Antonio to buy clothes ... I go shopping twice a year, so it's a pretty big event for me :D Several new pair of jeans, one new pair of slacks, work shirts, two dress shirts*, new work boots, socks, t-shirts and last but not least underwear. If it all works out, I should be able to go to just three stores at most and be done in 75 minutes or so depending on the boots. Should leave plenty of time to get back here for the Astros game at noon.

Sure hope I'm having a cocktail in celebration of a win this afternoon instead of to drown my baseball sorrows.




* Patty says she's going to kill me if I come home with another Hawaiian shirt for a dress shirt. Because I already know that I will, I've hidden the bullets and the knives from her. :wink:

Morning guys. I couldn't sleep last night, I'm exhausted. I have to go to work at 3, and then Nick and I are off to Uncle Ed's where he's meeting the family. I was supposed to go out this morning and get my hair cut and pick up a few things... but I'm soo tired. And I have to be back at work for 9 tomorrow morning after Uncle Ed's party. No rest for the wicked I suppose

Last night I ordered Chinese, ate a little then passed out! I had such a rough week I couldn't move last night!

Today I'm staying in my PJ's and cleaning the house. I'm going out to play tomorrow.

The past two work weeks have each lasted close to a month. So a day of rest is quite welcome!! I planned on just vegging the entire day, but I needed to pick up dry cleaning, so then I went to the street fair here in town. It's just three blocks long, but I'm exhausted!! I had plans for tomorrow for lunch and shopping,but I've already cancelled that. Tomorrow will be my day to never get out of my jammies.
