Pissed that Wake gave up that home run
Pissed that Timlin couldn't get my MOM out
Pissed that Manny's vertical leap is 2 inches
Pissed that Johnny Damon struck out four times
Pissed at Bill Miller for grounding into the game ending double play

Why should I think things will be any better tonight? Give me a reason to be happy.

I'm not really blaming any players.....except Timlin. The Sox would not have made it to the postseason without Manny and Curt. Timlin just didn't get it done IMO.

ill cheer you up...the red sox, even after being down 8 runs, made an incredible comeback! they scored 7 runs in two innings, and nearly won that game! My belief is that we would have won that game had tito not put in timlin. we had crazy momentum! also, we almost got to rivera there...against us, he isnt lethel...he's just like any other closer.

we can beat this team! There is no may any other yankee pitcher is going to pitch as well as moose did the first 6 innings. also, pedro isn't going to suck like schilling is.

the only thing the fox announcers said that I liked was...the red sox just scored 7 runs with an 8 run deficit...what on earth will they do when it's a close game?

I think Theo Epstein needs to get some serious credit for putting up quite possibly the best team the red sox have seen in a long, long time! we've lost one game...there are 6 more to go.

Rivera has blown 7 of 22 save opportunities against the Sox, or one out of every three. If those were regular stats for a closer during a season, he'd lose his job. I don't get a sense of "lights out" when he takes the mound against us.

i'm not trying to antagonize anyone. my point was that if mo comes into the game this evening it is obviously because the yanks did get to pedro or the bullpen for that matter and he is in the game to protect a yankee lead. that is all i'm saying.

yeah...guess i was wrong :) but who honestly expected liber to do that well? i blame the sox for swinging at the first pitch all the time...do you realize liber had like 45 pitches through 5 innings last night? it wasnt till damon's 16 pitch Ab that he started to get up there in pitchcount. thats just wrong!
