At least Steven Tyler sits with the common folk at Sox games. I think the seats Bob scored for us that time were better than Steven Tyler's seats. :)

Billy Crystal can eat it as far as I'm concerned, but Gulliani is the man. He was also a fantastic mayor, and hopefully, if we are lucky, president. Read his book, you will se he is not a fraud.

Exactly.

Why would I say I'm sick of seeing Guiliani too? Because I am. I need a reason?

He was hated by liberal democrats. Not by the rest of Ny

ok, now your overstepping your boundries! Guilliani did more for NYC than the last 10 mayors did combined. I have no idea where you are getting your information from but you are just WRONG!

Couldn't agree more. CIties across the country are using his techniques to lower crime levels. HE was the best mayor this city has ever seen, and a die hard Yankee fan to boot.

Dude get a grip. Don't tell me I'm wrong. Guiliani was not beloved by all, 9/11 did wonders for him.

Where am I getting my info from? Just all the Ny'ers I know. I don't give a crap if you like him. I don't, and opinions aren't wrong.

And Yankee 11, I agree he was disliked mostly by Democrats.

Sorry but the crime came down thanks to Bratton...who btw is a Soxs fan

and being born and bred in Brooklyn during the 50's ..and rooting for the Yankees..he should have been shot for that

Most of the people I know liked him throughout both of his terms. There were some changes he made that I didn't like, but in regards to the full package, I wish he was still our mayor.

Absolutely. Bratton was a stud. Crime rose significantly here when he left. :(

Bloomberg was absoulely aweful at first, but has gotten a little better. His school system reform might just work. His biggest problem is that he isn't a real republican. He is a liberal democrat disguised as a republican. Much better than the likes of Mark Green though.

Are you saying Guliani had nothing to do with the reduction in crime?

Being born in Brooklyn didn't automatically make you a dodger fan back then. Brooklyn is a huge place. My father was born in Williamsburg, and has been a Yankee fan his whole life. Should he have been shot?

Not the half credit Bratton should've gotten

only front runners ,glory hunters..whatever you want to call them rooted for the yanks in brooklyn..same as is with you and your kind here in GOD's COUNTRY..QUEENS...do i think you and your father should be shot ...em...no...but i'd like to see you move to the bronx..then you could be close to the place you love so well...how's that ?

I think you are wrong about that, not that I'll change your mind. So if you are from queens you have to be a met fan. What about those born in brooklyn, like myself who were born after the Dodgers left. I wonder what my father would say about being called a frontrunner. I was taken to my first game by my Uncle Manny when I was 4. Am I a frontrunner? I think you take the boundries thing a little too seriously.

why didn't your father become a giants fan?...or better yet a dodger fan...i don'tknow you or your dad..you tell me ..brooklyn at that time must have been 90% dodger fans,,btw this might end up in a book

I take this boundries thing a little too seriously?...why root for a NY team then...how about you root for St. Louis then

He became a fan the same way I did. We were indoctrinated by our uncle Manny. He is 90 now and the greatest yankee fan in the world. He is unfortunately sick now. I'm going to watch the game with him tonight. If you are writing a book about baseball, or Yankee fans this is the type of person you want to write about.

Shoot me an email, I can tell you much more.

I will say this though, My Grandfather on my mother's side, never watched baseball again after the Giant's left. He *****ed about it till the day he died.
