Tom Glavine Scouting Report!

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Tom Glavine may work his curveball in more this season in an attempt to get more strikeouts. His 116 strikeouts last season were the fewest he had since 1989.

A lot of people would like to write Glavine off it seems but this is nothing new...no he wont strike a lot of people out but if you are in a 4x4 league who cares? He is truely a bulldog on the mound (apologies to Orel) and that goes a long way in a league filled with a lot of flakey pitchers.

Still a top pitcher but because most leagues now are 5 x 5 his value is a little lower, but still worth being your fantasy number 2 or 3 if you have the chance at him.........but isn't this an even number year, this seems to be a factor in his pitching the last few years, maybe he will break his even number years slump and come back to normal....
