Right-hander Gary Glover, who started three games for the Brewers in the final month, was signed to a one-year contract on Friday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Glover, 27, was 2-1 with a 3.50 ERA in four appearances.
He pitched eight games (six starts) for Class AAA Indianapolis and posted a 3-3 record and 3.98 earned run average.
Glover, who also has pitched in the big leagues for the Chicago White Sox, Anaheim and Toronto, is 16-14 with a 4.92 ERA in 134 games, including 36 starts.

MILWAUKEE, WI - The Milwaukee Brewers have reached agreement on a one-year contract for the 2005 season with pitcher Gary Glover, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager, Doug Melvin. No financial terms were disclosed.
Glover, 27, was 2-1 with a 3.50 ERA in four games, three starts, for the Brewers in 2004. Glover also made eight appearances, six starts, at Triple A Indianapolis this year, posting a 3-3 record with a 3.98 ERA.
He also worked at the Triple A level with Iowa (Chicago-N) and Rochester (Minnesota) this year. In total, Glover was 3-4 with a 5.24 ERA in 13 games, 10 starts, at the minor league level in 2004.
In his Major League career, Glover is 16-14 with a 4.92 ERA in 134 games, 36 starts, for the Brewers, Chicago White Sox, Anaheim Angels and Toronto Blue Jays.

In addition to the signing, the team outrighted five players off the 40-man roster: pitchers Ben Ford, Jesse Harper and Travis Phelps, infielder Trent Durrington and catcher Mark Johnson.
Pitcher Chris Capuano was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list and infielder Junior Spivey was reinstated from the 60-day DL. Spivey is eligible for salary arbitration this winter.
