Call me crazy,but something tells me that Northwestern may pull off the upset of the year by going into Ann Arbor and stealing a win against Michigan.

NUs defense has been playing really well,considering that they've played lesser caliber teams like Indiana and Penn State in recent weeks.

I just like Northwestern's chances this weekend.It's not like it's impossible to win there.NU has won in Ann Arbor in recent years.

I'm sure, NU will give them a good game, but i think Michigan is going to be too tough in the big house.

Latest line is that Northwestern is 13 1/2 point dogs at Michigan.

I just have this gut feeling about this one.This game has bowl implications for both teams.

If Northwestern is going to win,it will be a low scoring affair.Something like 14-12.

I can remember a time when if anybody suggested that Northwestern would come within 30 points of Michigan at the big house, they would not only call you crazy but probably throw you UNDER the insane asylum.

But this is a new day and in this current environment of college football where parity rules, nothing is impossible. We've seen some amazing upsets over the past few years. Still, predicting Nortwestern will win at Michigan is a pretty bold statement. But you will look like a genius if you're right, and I hope you are.

I will be checking myself into an insane asylum come Monday morning. :freak:

Michigan won 42-20.They just blew Northwestern away in the 2nd half.It was only 7-6 Michigan at halftime.NU kept it close midway through the 3rd quarter,then the Wolverines scored 35 points in the 2nd half to seal the win,and keep thier Rose Bowl hopes alive.

NU(5-5,4-3 in the Big Ten) still has a shot at a bowl game,providing they beat Illinois next week(Instant win),and win at Hawaii the following week.

it was looking good until Michigan scored the second touchdown of the second half. I thought NU was going to keep on strong when they made it 14-13.

I knew once I turned off the TV with Michigan leading 14-13 that something really bad was going to happen.
