He was named Coach of the Year for the AL for this past season.

It was well deserved also, the team had a 19 game turn around in the win column, and he brought excitment back to the Arod-less club. People thought it would be a learning year for us, and the youngsters proved that theory wrong. We won, and we almost got to the playoffs. Just a few more pieces and a repeat performance from this young group of guys and we might have a contender soon. Maybe even next year!!!!

This team is much better off than it was this time last year.And the future looks bright in the Lone Star State.
