I've got in mind what I'd like to do, but I'm curious as to some other people's opinions as well on keepers going into the draft. This is what remains after a horrible offseason of losing the core of my team to the NL.

AL Only(10 teams). 4x4(the basic 4x4 categories with (R+RBI-HR) in place of RBIs). $260 budget. 20 game eligibility. All players active.

Tony Clark 19
Jeremy Giambi 1
Jerry Hairston 4
Jose Valentin 1
Chuck Knoblauch 16
Juan Gonzalez 37
Robin Ventura 7
Mark Quinn 7
Carl Everett 28
Edgar Martinez 23
Paul Abbott 4
Chuck Finley 19
Sidney Ponson 10
Chris Carpenter 10
Esteban Yan 10
Frank Castillo 8

How many can you keep?

up to 15... i lost almost 10 players to the NL, so that left me with only 16 players to decide from anyway.

Might consider dropping Finley and his $19 price tag and seeing if you can pick him back up in the draft for a good deal cheaper.....Other than that I like what you have so far....

that list isnt who i was planning on keeping... Its a list of everyone who remains on my team from last year. I must decide who to keep at those prices for the draft. Finley is my only definite no keeper, but i have some others I'm probably not going to keep... Any other opinions?

Well I think you should keep Hairston, Quinn, and Carpenter but besides that... I don't know man... will there be alot of talent in the draft? If you want to take some chances then keeper Martinez and Everett to help beff up your hitting. And keep Paul Abbot too. He may do significantly worse this year but still he will end up being worth more than his price.
