Did you read the rumor mill on boston.com? Glaus said Boston fits all the criteria he'd require in a new team and location. I guess his wife would like to move to the east coast, and we all know a wife's preference could mean a lot. :)

No, Glaus should be plan B, but we can not wait forever. What happens if we wait too long and miss out on both? This could be another situation where Scott Boras does more harm than good for his client. If Glaus says he is ready to sign with us, we really can't wait forever on Tek.

I heard in the off season, she travels the east coast doing charity stuff. I would love to have him on the team.

Offensively, yes. Actually, offensive, itll be a plus. But Tek is a huge major part of OUR Sox. But too bad Boras is his puppet master. :angry:

ESPN has Glaus going to Houston and Beltran going to New York in their rundown of the top fifty free agents. Then again, Jayson Stark says he has sources that say that Beltran will most likely stay in Houston. :notme:

I don't know how all of this shakes out. Personally, I would love to see Glaus in an Astros uniform even if we sign Beltran.

Glaus would be great for you guys! I wish we didn't have to give him up, but Moreno wants to cut some payroll and they think Macphearson is ready to go. I think Glaus will be huge in Boston and he's only in his mid-late twenties. He still has a lot of years left!
