Bad News Bears!!! Urlacker out for month

Just when things were getting better for the Bears, they took another major hit to their biggest star.

All-Pro linebacker Brian Urlacher told FOXSports.com that a lower leg injury, sustained late in Sunday's game, will have him out for approximately the next month.
Urlacher went to Northwestern Hospital at 4 a.m. Monday and doctors performed a procedure to release the pressure on the injured area of his leg.

I love to watch Urlacker play football!!!!!!!! I often think of him with a purple jersey on his back!!!! I think he is my favorite player to watch and this sucks!!!!!

To see the Bears fighting for a top spot in the NFC North and now lose not only there best player but leader on defense sucks!!!!!

he may be the leader of the defense, but the bears are more than good enough on D without him. In fact yesterday, he had a horrible game (except for that near INT).

Lance Briggs and Hunter Hillermeyer will do just fine, and Joe Odom is a very effective linebacker (he'll move to the outside, and Hunter will move to Urlachers spot).

the bears defensive line is what makes this defense tick.

I hate him. (Sorry Ray) I think he's over-rated. I agree Ray, you won't miss a beat.

no offense taken. i think hes overrated as a linebacker and lance briggs is probably a better Linebacker. Alex Brown and Tommie Harris and Lance Briggs are the defensive leaders.
