Hello Everyone. I am New to this Great Forum for Fantasy Baseball.
I have joined a few Fantasy Baseball Leagues such as Yahoo and CBS Sportsline. I'm waiting for Sandbox and Swirve to Open their Fantasy Baseball Leagues.
I would VERY Much appreciate some recommendations for the Best Three Free Fantasy Baseball Cheat Sheets.
Thanks for the Help.

The Question is:

Gotta agree with Fullabull on this one Fantasy Baseball Central .com is the place to start, you will find more projections and rankings than you know what to do with.
USA Today's Baseball Weekly gives good timely numbers also but everyone and their sister sees them. Guaranteed your auction will have AT LEAST two owners who go almost exclusivly by these numbers.
For the very few who will read this post I will give out a personal favorite of mine this year...now the site isnt the slickest but the info contained within is something I can trust. They tried making it a pay-per-view site last year but I guess they didnt get many subscribers as it seems to be free this year.

Hope it helps!

Also, you can try Sporting News. They have a top 300 player ranking list, which could definitely help you out if you're in need of a "cheat sheet". The link is below....

Thanks everyone for All the Links that you provided.
I'm sure it will prove useful to many others as well.
Now that I've had a chance to look at the different cheat sheets here is a question that comes up.
I guess it is no surprise that there isn't that much difference between the various cheat sheets.
There is only one Randy Johnson, Derek Jeter and Sammy Sosa.
That being said here is my Question ?
I have some Teams in Yahoo which I've already ranked and drafted. I ranked two of my Teams and left the other to be drafted by the Yahoo Default Ranking.
I still have to decide about ranking my two CBS Sportsline Teams or leave the CBS Sportsline Default Rankings.
Finally My Question :-)
With so much similarity between All the Ranking Cheat Sheets, does entering your own draft choices VS using the Default Rankngs such as Yahoo and CBS Sportsline really make much if any real difference as to the final results ?
Comments and thoughts about this question would be welcomed and appreciated.
Especially from the Veteran Fantasy Baseball Owners.
Thanks again for all your previous help.

the default rankings are set on last years stats so if someone got injured or retired they may still be high in the rankings..you'd best check or pay the consequenses
Why on Earth would anyone do their research on the players, only to let a damn computer do the selection? And, I have always enjoyed the draft process a lot; not the anonymous and highly impersonal internet draft, but an honest, face-to-face draft/auction, with real people, even a group of friends getting together to have some fun. Amazing!!:ohno:

Dear Bear
You're point is well taken. I do not disagree with you.
That being said my particular case is somewhat different i that I use Web Tv and because I can only chat through MSN Messenger my Fantasy Drafts unfortunately need to be the Auto Draft.
I was only asking the question for curiousity sake as to the differences if any.
Both Yahoo and CBS Sportsline state that they Update their Draft Lists occasionaly before the Actual Draft.
I intend to update the Draft Lists on my own But again based on the similarities of many of the Cheat Sheets I was just wondering as I said before of the actual real final difference in your Final Team Lineup.
Thanks for your Input.
Good Luck with your Teams this Year.
Trojan,
You said you are new to the roto scene, so allow me to caution you about the use of cheatsheets. Ideally, you will learn enough to make up your own ratings tailored expressly for your league, with your valuations on every player. But, until you get some competence in this area, you will need to take all kinds of information from several sources you feel comfortable with, look at it carefully, add your own biases regarding certain players, and then you must tailor all that to YOUR league. These things are set up to be generic, not applicable to all league settings. For instance, 5x5 will place less emphasis on closers than will 4x4; if your cheatsheet is either generic or set up for the opposite of your league, then the numbers will be badly skewed one way or the other. You have to find out what type league a particular sheet is set up for, and then modify it to your parameters. If you don't, you will overpay or not bid enough and wonder where all the bargains went!! Be especially careful about the "help" some of the mass market sites give you, too.Sites like ESPN or Sportsline or Yahoo are not going to give you all the info you need to acquire and run YOUR team in YOUR league. You will need to explore some links from sites such as fantasybaseballcentral.com or skiltons and uncover this info for yourself--it's fun!;)
