Maryland?

WTF happened to Maryland this year? They are absolutely horrible. Right now they are losing 55-3 to Virginia Tech right now and are playing flatter than the land in illinois.

they are what like 4-6 now? what happened to the 9 and 10 win seasons these guys have had over the past several years?

I'm almost embarassed to be watching this game.

I don't know, but I don't think the Fridge forgot how to coach over the off season. More than likely it has to do with them losing seven starters on defense and 6 on offense including Scott O'Brein and Bruce Perry. It just goes to show how hard it is in today's enviroment of college football to consistently maintain a high level of play over a significant period of a time.

I really got a kick out of Beamer going for a FG with a 38-3 lead on the last play of the first half and the Fridge using all his TOs to ice the kicker. Then he went on to drop an S-bomb in the halftime interview. He was clearly frustrated. but Va. Tech was hitting on all cylinders last night.
