It will be in stores Tuesday. YET, it has already shattered the record for most WS DVD's sold. :eek:
The previous record was 300,000 set by the 96 Yanks/Braves WS. The Sox DVD has already PRE-SOLD 400,000 copies on MLB.COM. And it hasn't even hit stores yet. :laff:

Not only will I buy a copy, but 3 of us are going to the Wang Center Monday night for the Big Screen edition. Trot, Timlin, Theo, and Terry will be there. :thumbsup:

Thats insane. You can almost buy 3 DVD's for that price. However, you do get to see some of the players.
Off topic (sort of): when I was younger, when Disney's Poccahantus came out, they had an early showing of it at the Wang Center, and tickets were like $25 each. So as young and naive as I was, I took a girlie to it. What a waste of money, I thought it would have more stuff going on, but a few people dressed up in Disney character suits and danced around for 5 minutes and that was it. Then they showed the movie. :sigh: Dam, Wang Center. Oh wells.

I got and watched my copy of the MLB DVD yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I didn't think they skimped on the ALCS coverage. After all, this is a WORLD SERIES DVD, not an ALCS DVD. I thought the coverage of the ALCS was sufficient...more than I expected.
What I liked about the DVD is that it's all Red Sox. I thought it would show more Cardinals coverage, but it does not. It also shows a lot more build up and post-series coverage than I expected. The DVD is also about a half hour longer than I expected. Good stuff!!
That "Tessie" song at the end of the DVD kicks ass. :D
Did it take long from Amazon? Cuz I still cant find it anywhere here. :( Maybe I will, cuz I want that NESN too.

Bob, I ordered it from buy.com. If you order it today, it'll ship today and you'll get it in a few days. I ordered mine last Wednesday and got it Monday with standard shipping. I ordered the Stephen King book and the NESN DVD from buy.com as well. I got the book yesterday and the NESN DVD should arrive today.
Dick's Sporting Goods has the MLB DVD. Did you look there?

Ive checked Stop and Shop, they dont have it. I went to 3 different ones, Ive even checked 2 other Shaw's. :( Its ok, Ill just order them. :)

Finally!!!! I went over to Shaws to grab some lunch, and they had a huge display filled with them. $14.99!!! WOOHOO!!! Im sooo content. But I'll still be in search for the NESN too. Man, what a day. I love it. :thumbsup:
