signed the dude for 2 years at 4 million total with incentives to make him another two million dollars.

he went 6-2 with a sub 4.00 ERA in a dual role of relief and starting in replacement of Wood and Prior last year with the cubs. He turned around his career after a 1-12 stint with milwaukee the year before.


its good to get him back in the fold. I think the big thing is that Larry Rothschild had him pitch inside more often and take control of that inside corner.

I always liked Glendon and I thought he just seemed to have bad breaks. He sure has some talent. Glad that he gets to say with a good team. :thumbsup:

yes, he had talent, but he never really pitched inside and that is something that Larry preaches: pitch inside and back the guy off the plate so then you can nip the outer corner. thats when glendon was at his best this past year: painting both corners
