From Boston.com...

You read it right folks, Mo Vaughn may be looking to get back in the game. Vaughn's agent, Greg Genske, told the New York Daily News that Vaughn -- who retired in 2003 with an arthritic left knee -- is feeling stronger and had asked him to see what opportunities might be available. "He's working out and doing better," Genske said. "He's interested in what options there are." Genske told the Daily News he had fielded calls from a few clubs and said Vaughn would be a good fit with an American League team, where he could be a designated hitter. Vaughn is 36 years old.

Good luck. May you find a suitor....just not here. :D

He could be the first 400 lb man to hit a HR. :)

Surely Cecil Fielder accomplished that feat.

Hmm considering a doctor told Mo that if he tried to play again with that knee he could well be paralized. But you know if the guy wants to be a shmuck :)

I would just like to point out, that in all of Major League Baseball,

MO VAUGHN was the SEVENTH highest payed player in the majors... IN 2004!!

that's right. He was under contract with the Mets for just under $17.2 MILLION this year. What a crock. I think I'd much rather have David Ortiz, the second coming of ol' Mo who hits better, is Mr. Clutch, and makes millions less. Ortiz is my Freaking Hero! Mo is just a bum.

for a full list of of player salaries, check it out here: http://asp.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/salaries/top25.aspx?year=2004
