Is it a good solution? Just wondering. Should cities be allowed to do so? Give reasons.
I think so because we will feel safer in our neighbourhoods, there will be less and less of crimes and maybe the criminals will stop.

I feel that capital punishment does not achieve its intended goal.
I believe that statistics (at least from a few years ago) show that certain crimes have *not* actually decreased as they should have, knowing that the criminal may end up with a death sentence.
Second, and even more important, these dirtbags I mean criminals spend a good 10-12 years with appeal after appeal and legal red tape before they actually do get executed. If someone is sentenced to death, there has to be a reasonable time fram with which to carry out the sentencing.
I basically do believe in capital punishment in certain cases, but it has to be enforced.

Nope. I dislike capital punishment. Why should the criminals get the easy way out by not having to suffer in a maximum security prison for the rest of their life? Plus, I don't ever think an eye for an eye is the right idea.
