REPORT: Red Sox increase offer to Pedro

ESPN Insider apparently has an article confirming this headline, unfortunately I do not subscribe. Does anyone out there have access that might want to post the article in this forum? It might just be nice to keep tabs on this whole Petey situation. I too am on the bandwagon that thinks we'll have pete, schill, and pavano all with us next season.

One bit of GREAT NEWS I heard on NESN sports news show (name escapes me right now) that Juan Marichel is giving Pedro advice which is "to stay in Boston because the Red Sox have been good to you and to the people of the Dominican." He would also "make alot of people very angry if signed with the Yankees". :clap:

:Wow: I am SURE that Pedro will heed this advice. Juan Marichel is a hero to the people in the Dominican and I would imagine that Pedro grew up listening to all the stories about Marichel's pitching exploits.
