There I was yesterday, my soccer team I coach in a huge game for 2nd place, and we are tied 1-1. My nephew is in goal, because he is my best goalie. I taught him well. And my Defense trips a player in the goal box. PENALTY KICK!!!
So they line up the ball, I scream to my nephew "Just watch the BALL". The kid kicks for the right post. My nephew takes 2 steps, full stretched out dive, and blocks the shot!!!!
Soon after we score, and take home BIG 2nd place trophies. My team did great this year. And I guess it is a reflection of me, but I think it is all on them, they just took my teaching and made it work for us. I loved just standing there looking at them get thier trophies and smiling, I was in AWE.
